When you submit an enquiry through our contact page, we collect:

Will questionnaire

When you complete our will writing questionnaire, we collect more extensive personal data to allow us to prepare your documents. This includes:

  • Full name, date of birth, address, and contact details
  • Occupation and income information
  • Details of assets, property, savings, debts, and liabilities
  • Details of existing life insurance and pension policies
  • Information about family members, including executors, guardians, and beneficiaries (including their names, dates of birth, addresses, and contact details)
  • Funeral and organ donation wishes
  • Information about any exclusions from your will
  • Personal notes and wishes
  • Responses to questions about your personal circumstances, which may include sensitive information such as medical conditions, disability, or marital history

Please note: Some of the information collected in the will questionnaire may constitute special category data under UK GDPR (for example, health information). We process this only to the extent necessary to prepare your will and associated documents.

4. How long we keep your data

We retain contact form enquiries for up to 12 months from the date of submission, unless you proceed to use our services.

For clients who use our will writing or estate planning services, we retain your personal data for a minimum of 7 years following the completion of your matter. This reflects our legal and professional obligations and the long-term nature of will and estate documents.

We will delete or anonymise your data when it is no longer required for the purposes set out in this policy.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Our technology providers — including the platforms we use to operate this website and store data securely. These providers act as data processors and are bound by data processing agreements.
